Episode 16

While leaving his house to meet Seol and go on their trip, Jung heard the ambulance. He accompanied Seol to the hospital and stayed there until her parents arrived and the doctor said that the surgery went well. Then Jung rushed to the police station. There In Ho had just arrived after Jae Woo called him. But In Ha wasn’t talking and both In Ho and Jae Woo didn’t know any details about the accident that happened.

When he arrived at the police station, Jung was violent and furious with In Ho. Jae Woo and In Ho barely saved In Ha from Jung’s hands.

Jung:”I will kill you!”

Hearing that the victim is Seol, In Ho ran to the hospital, bowed his head and apologized. While In Ho went to apologize to Seol’s parents, Jung’s father ordered In Ha to be forcefully taken and locked in a mental institute. Worried, In Ho went to see his sister, but it was too late and he wasn’t allowed to see her that night. In Ho slept on the bench at the mental hospital and early in the morning he was able to see and talk to In Ha. The whole time In Ho thought that the one that locked In Ha in the mental institute was Jung, but talking to In Ha he realized that it was Jung’s father.

Jung came to the hospital and saw his father talking to Seol’s parents. He offered to pay for Seol’s hospital bills and every treatment Seol needs. Talking with his father, Jung found out that his father ordered In Ha to be locked in a mental hospital. President Yoo was too afraid that if In Ha would be arrested, in the trial she could mention president Yoo or Jung’s name. To avoid his name being involved in this trouble, president Yoo will transform In Ha into a mental patient. Then he scolded Jung for causing trouble, instead of being careful after what happened with In Ho’s hand.

After his conversation with his father, Jung realized why people were looking at him in a certain way after he was hurting them, after he was stepping on their feelings. He realized that Seol was hurt because of him and that if they will continue to meet, Seol will be hurt again in the future. But still he wants Seol in his life in the future, he wants to be able to hold Seol’s hand.

Locked in the mental institute, In Ha refuses to eat or see In Ho. Meantime In Ho keeps staying in the hospital, without moving. Jae Woo is the one that brings him coffee and news about Seol’s condition.

The day Seol came out of the hospital, she found In Ho in front of her house. She went to talk to In Ho and she gave In Ho an agreement between In Ha and herself so that In Ha won’t have any problems because of the accident. Seol didn’t forgive In Ha, but she wants to move on with her life. Then Seol encouraged In Ho to participate at the competition she promised him that she will go. Since she promised him that she will go see him play the piano, Seol will keep her promise no matter what happened.

Jung needs to figure out what kind of person he really is and for that he has to stay away of his father and everything for awhile. He quit his job and announced his father of his decision. While packing his bags, Jung found the autograph he got for In Ho the day his father announced that intends to adopt In Ho and In Ha. Later Jung went to see In Ha and bid her farewell. He let her go and asked In Ha to not be held back by their past and move on with her life.

While Jung was leaving, In Ho received the news that In Ha will be discharged the next day. On his way out, Jung stops to talk to In Ho. He told In Ho that In Ha will have to go through a trial and face the consequences of her actions. In Ho agrees with Jung. He thanks Jung for releasing In Ha from the mental institute and apologizes for all that happened between them.

Jung hands In Ho the piano book with the autograph of In Ho’s favorite pianist.

Jung:”It would’ve been nice if I’d given it to you back then.”

Jung went to see Seol, but her parents aren’t happy. Seol’s parents expected Jung to contact them or to visit Seol while she was in the hospital, but he didn’t give any sign. He needs to talk to Seol so they go out. Seol heard what Jung did to In Ha and why In Ha was so angry with her the day of the accident. She blamed Jung for a while, but Seol understood that everything was an accident. Seol wants to keep dating Jung.

Jung:”Let’s break up!”

After breaking up with Jung, Seol spends every day in her room. Her parents and Jun are worried about her. Meantime In Ho came by their store. He brought them presents, he apologized for all the trouble he gave them and thanked them for their help. When In Ho wanted to leave, Seol’s parents didn’t let him. They insisted that In Ho stay and eat with them.

It’s the day In Ho leaves. Seol came by to say goodbye. That day it’s also the day of In Ho’s competition so she reassured him that she will be cheering for him.

In Ho:”Thank you for showing me your smiling face.”

Later In Ho found out that the debt he had with the gangsters was paid. Also the lawyer that paid the debt made sure that In Ho won’t be disturbed by those gangsters ever again.

At In Ho’s competition, his old teacher and his new teacher where there, In Ha and Jae Woo were cheering for him too. Meantime Seol was home eating with her family. Suddenly she received a text from In Ha. In that text In Ha was apologizing for the accident and was also telling Seol at what hour Jung is leaving the country.

Three years later Seol got a job at the company she always wanted too. There she met people like those in university. Jae Woo and In Ha are in a relationship. In Ho was accepted to a music university and his hand healed. He also works part time as a pianist in a restaurant.
