At the company, the employees started gossiping about Mi So. Someone saw Mi So and Young Joon holding hands and told everyone else. Now people believe Mi So seduced Young Joon to grow her career faster, since Mi So didn’t graduate from a prestigious university. She is hurt by all those comments, but keeps working hard as usual. Her co-workers, who know how much Mi So works, defend her as much as they can. Young Joon also found out about the rumors, but doesn’t intervene to mot make things worse. He takes Mi So out of town for a business meeting and take advantage of that trip to date.

Young Joon asked Mi So to accompany him to his friend’s restaurant opening. She was happy to meet Young Joon’s friend, but when they’ve arrived, Mi So’s jealousy showed up. Mi So thought that Young Joon’s friend was a man. Arrived there, Mi So sees Yoo Mi, a young woman with whom Young Joon is extremely close, they greed each other by hugging. When Young Joon was five years old, he wanted to marry Yoo Mi. Leaving the restaurant, Mi So shows her jealousy again when she asks Young Joon to open a bottle of water for her. Earlier, at the restaurant, Yoo Mi had asked Young Joon to open a jar for her.
Young Joon:”Are you jealous, secretary Kim?”
Later, Young Joon drove Mi So to the hospital to see her father. It wasn’t Mi So’s intention to introduce Young Joon to her father, but her father saw them. When he found out that Young Joon and Mi So are dating, Mi So’s father was against the relationship. He is actually agreeing them to date, but intends to give Young Joon a hard time before. In Mi So’s father’s eyes, Young Joon as a rich man must be used to get everything easily so it will be good for Young Joon to have to work to get permission to date Mi So.
After talking with Mi So’s father, Young Joon remembered what Mi So told him when she resigned. She said she wants to find what she wants in life. So now Young Joon doesn’t intend to stop Mi So from resigning, without knowing that Mi So doesn’t want to resign anymore.
Young Joon kept thinking about Mi So’s father’s words. He drove Mi So home and asked her what she wants to do from now on. She doesn’t know. From a young age, Mi So had to work, was busy applying for jobs, was busy earning money and repaying her family’s debts so Mi So doesn’t know what her dream is. Hearing her say that, Young Joon decided he should let her go and support her dreams, even if those dreams mean he won’t see her all day.
Young Joon:”I should let you go now.”
People are starting to gossip about Mi So and Young Joon. Someone saw them holding hands during a date and let everyone in the company know. When manager Jung and Se Ra saw them hugging, Young Joon told them that it’s true. He and Mi So are dating. Mi So asked them to keep it a secret, but Se Ra told Mi So about the rumours. Later that day, Se Ra and Ji Ah hear two women talking about Mi So seducing Young Joon and that’s why Mi So got her job there when Mi So didn’t graduate from a prestigious university. Ji Ah and Se Ra were offended and fought those two women. They know Mi So and how hard Mi So worked and were offended by what those two women said without knowing Mi So. Even if Mi So wanted to keep what happened a secret from Young Joon, he found out. Unfortunately, even if he knows, Young Joon has to pretend not to know for now. In all that situation, Mi So is the stressed one.
Young Joon:”We don’t pay them to bad – mouth others.”
Young Joon can’t do anything about those rumours, but he can make Mi So forget about them for a while. He tells her to get ready for a business trip. After the meeting, Young Joon and Mi So went on a date. They are in a different town so they can date without worries that someone might see them.
The rival company released the photo of the laptop they will put on the market soon. The design of that laptop is the same as Young Joon’s company will release. Someone stole the design and sold it to the rivals. Young Joon calls for an emergency meeting with the board of directors. At the meeting, Young Joon decided that if the design is the same, than his company laptop should at least have better functions that the rivals. Everyone worked hard so the legal team is preparing for a plagiarism lawsuit, the development team will upgrade the laptop’s functions and the marketing team prepared a plan for and extra budget. All that work made Mi So realize that she loves her job. She loves assisting Young Joon, she likes the feeling of achievement she gets after solving sudden problems.
Mi So:”I won’t quit my job.”
Young Joon drove Mi So home and remained for dinner. They talk and Young Joon said he wants to marry Mi So, to go home with her every day. But Mi So’s father, who was hiding under the blanket, objected their marriage.
Young Joon:”I want to be your husband.”
