One day, a man wakes up in the middle of garbage. He doesn’t remember who he is, where he is from. He can’t speak, he moves strange, there is smoke coming out of his body. He soon realizes he is a zombie. He needs to live along humans. He trained himself to move, walk and speak as humans for more then a year. Then he took over detective Kim Moo Young’s identity and became a private detective. One day he even hired a part timer, Gong Sun Ji.
Episode 1
Kim Moo Young wakes up in a garbage place. He doesn’t know where he is. He doesn’t feel any pain or sensation. He finds a glass and is shocked when he sees his own face. Smoke is coming out of his body. He can’t talk, only weird noises come out. He doesn’t remember anything, he doesn’t know where to go or who he is.
Moo Young:”Where am I? Why is smoke coming out of my body? What’s wrong with my face?”
He walks aimlessly. He is hungry and finds a rabbit. He killed and ate the rabbit. He doesn’t want to be this kind of animal. He prefers to die. He threw himself off a cliff, but he didn’t die.
Moo Young:”I’m no longer human.”
He continues walking until he arrived in town. He met a human there, Gong Sun Ji. He tried to hid himself, but he is wearing Sun Ji’s hoodie. She needs her phone from the hoodie. She believes Moo Young is an alcoholic and asked him to get treatment.
To be able to live along humans, Moo Young had to live like one. He found an abandoned place to live, he trained himself to be able to walk, move, talk like humans. It took him one year, but he succeeded.
One night, Moo Young feels the smell of meat. A human came to see the grave of a loved one. Moo Young looked at him, but didn’t get closer. He couldn’t eat that human. He stayed hidden. The human heard some noise and thought it was an animal. The human threw some pork meat towards the noise. The mean landed near Moo Young. Just when Moo Young was about to eat the pork, he heard a noise.
Moo Young looked back. Another human killed the first human. He saw the killer murdering his victim and throwing the body off a cliff.
Moo Young:”Humans are so cruel.”
He buried the victim and looked inside the victim’s bag. He found a business card with the name Kim Moo Young, a detective. So the zombie went in town. He bought himself some makeup and took over detective Kim Moo Young’s life.
Moo Young’s first client is Joon Woo, Sun Ji’s nephew who lost his dog.
